HARTFORD — There are too many troubling questions lingering after the shooting last week of 15-year-old Jayson Negron by Bridgeport Police, lawmakers and activists charged Tuesday.
The legislative Black and Puerto Rican Caucus demanded the release of videos from the scene, as well as autopsy documents and the training records of James Boulay, the rookie police officer who, four days after his probationary period, shot the teen on May 9. The caucus asked specifically for records of his training in the areas of bias and event de-escalation.
