CT State Overtime Spending Down

State OT spending continues downward slide

Connecticut’s state government reduced overtime spending by 6.7 percent in fiscal 2017, according to the nonpartisan Office of Fiscal Analysis.

The OFA report released Tuesday shows that during the fiscal year that ended June 30, state agencies had decreased overtime use by $14.7 million, to $204.4 million compared with $219 million a year ago.
